Cookie & tracking notice
Version 1 · Effective from Nov 2, 2026
This notice is a draft prepared for review by a Bangladeshi advocate.
This notice tells you, as the Digital Commerce Operation Guidelines 2021 and the Personal Data Protection Act 2026 require, which cookies and similar tools flowmind.digital uses, why, and how to control them. Cookies are small files stored in your browser; some are needed for the site to work, others help us understand and improve it.
Cookies we set ourselves
| Name | Purpose | Lifetime | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| fm_session | Keeps you logged in | 30 days | Strictly necessary |
| lang | Remembers Bangla or English | 1 year | Preference |
| fm_utm | Remembers the campaign, ad or link that brought you here, so we know which marketing works | 30 days | Analytics / attribution |
| fm_vid | A random visitor ID for our own first-party analytics (pages visited, device, time on site) | 13 months | Analytics |
| fm_sid | A random ID for the current visit | Current visit (about 30 minutes of inactivity) | Analytics |
| Maintenance pass cookie | Lets authorised people use the site during maintenance | 30 days | Strictly necessary |
| Browser storage (cart, coupon, sidebar settings) | Keeps your cart and interface choices on your device; never sent to anyone | Until you clear it | Functional |
Our first-party analytics are our own: the data stays on our servers, is not sold, and is excluded for our team's own visits.
Third-party tools we may enable
| Tool | Cookies | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| Meta (Facebook) Pixel | _fbp, _fbc | Measure and improve our Facebook and Instagram advertising; show relevant offers | up to 90 days |
| Google Analytics / Tag Manager | _ga, ga* | Measure site use | up to 2 years |
These load only when we have switched them on; when they are on, they are shown on this page and governed by the providers' own policies (Meta: facebook.com/privacy; Google: policies.google.com). You can opt out of Meta's ad personalisation in your Facebook ad settings and of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on.
How to control cookies
- You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site still opens, but logging in, the cart and payments need the strictly necessary cookies.
- Withdrawing consent for analytics or marketing cookies: clear the fm_vid, fm_utm and third-party cookies in your browser; they are not re-set for a visitor who blocks them.
- Our emails and SMS do not contain tracking pixels.
